LONDON - A jobless woman in Britain, who was issued 160 tickets for illegally parking her car, and racked up a bill of 11,000 pounds for failing to pay up, will now take at least forty-two years to pay the fines.

Charlotte Williams, 21, has now been ordered to hand over 5 pounds a week until she has cleared the 9,600 pounds bill, plus 1,400 pounds legal costs.

With the weekly payment she has to make, it will take her till March 2053 to clear the debt.

“I know I’ve been a bit silly but I just let the parking tickets spiral out of control,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

Williams’ problems began when she moved back in with her parents in Llanelli, Dyfed, where she claims she was turned down for a resident’s parking pass.

“We have spent a lot of effort on contacting Miss Williams but she refused to co-operate,” Carmarthenshire council said. (ANI)
