LONDON - The widow of 7/7 bomb ringleader Mohammad Sidique Khan has secretly remarried, and reportedly moved away from the home where the worst terror atrocity in Britain was planned.
According to the Daily Mail, Hasina Khan has reportedly married 35-year-old heating engineer Tariq Mahmood, and the couple have a three-year-old baby.
They live 50 miles from her former home and friends in the Asian community of Dewsbury, West Yorks, where Khan had plotted the London bombings that killed 52 and injured 700.
The paper quoted a neighbour, as saying: “They don’t say much to anyone and keep themselves to themselves. But they seem happy.”
Hasina, who also has a six-year-old daughter from her marriage to Khan, reportedly knew nothing of Khan’s secret trips to al-Qaeda training camps, and that he was an Islamic radical and planning the deadly explosions.
She miscarried their second child soon after the bombings. Khan left 400 pounds in his will to buy their daughter Maryam toys and wrote an apology to Hasina for his ‘lies and deceit.’ (ANI)
