By ANISunday, November 21, 2010
LONDON - Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf telephoned Awami Muslim League (AML) chief, Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, and exchanged views on the political situation in the country as well as statements being given by former premier Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali.
According to The News, Musharraf told Rashid that Jamali was giving misleading interviews for political gains.
Musharraf said he would not give out any statement against Jamali for the time being, but asked Rashid to convey his grievances to him.
Rashid told the former general that Jamali was in his hometown and when he returns to Islamabad, he would convey Musharraf’s complaints.
Musharraf also expressed regret over the attitude of PML-Q leaders, who have refused to join the All Pakistan Muslim League despite making a commitment. (ANI)
