LONDON - Several of Kate Middleton’s relatives will not be invited to her wedding, courtesy a family feud.

Middleton belongs to a working-class family, with builders and miners among her ancestors, and the ‘rough and tumble’ side of her family will be left out.

A long-standing family feud has split the relatives of Kate’s mother Carole in a rift dating back to 1978.

Her father Ron Goldsmith fell out with his older sister Alice Tomlinson over a perceived snub Goldsmith’s wife gave to Tomlinson’s husband.

“We’re the rough and tumble side. We’re the workers, the working class. None of us are ashamed of our background. It’s just the way things are. We won’t be invited, but it’s not Carole’s fault. Her parents fell out with the rest of the family when she was young,” the Daily Express quoted one relative as saying.

Meanwhile, Kate’s great aunt Alice would be 100 in May next year.

Her family said she would most likely watch her great-niece marry Prince William on television. (ANI)
