SILIGURI - Gorkha Janamukti Morcha convener Sankar Adhikari has said a separate Gorkhaland State would curb the national identity crisis and secure the future of the next generation.

Adhikari said the demand for a separate state does not mean that people belonging to other communities and region cannot live there, but is aimed at saving the identity of warned Gorkhas.

He warned that if their proposal is not accepted, the movement or a separate state would continue. By Tarak Sarkar (ANI)
