LONDON - Buy one get one free offers are not uncommon but when you get an AK-47 assault rifle free with used trucks, that’s something to think about.
A car dealer Nations Trucks, in Sanford, Seminole County, is offering an unusual inducement to potential new customers - a free AK-47 assault rifle - and sales have nearly doubled in used trucks, reports The Daily Mail.
Nick Ginetta, general sales manager, has been promoting the offer since Veterans Day and is thrilled with results. Of course, customers have to pass a background check before using the 400-dollar gun shop voucher.
They also have the option of using the money toward other firearms, or they can request a cheque in that amount instead.
There have been some complaints about the deal, which Ginetta acknowledged was controversial but he doesn’t plan to retract it.
He said, “My buyer is absolutely a gun owner, no question.” (ANI)
