Moderate earthquake jolts Pakistan

PESHAWAR - An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale jolted Peshawar and the northwest region of the country early Monday morning.
According to the Dawn, the earthquake took place at about 5.50am. No casualties or damage was reported.
Meteorological Department Director General Arif Mahmood said that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 119 kilometres north of Peshawar.
Tremors were also felt in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Kohat, Hazara and the Kurram Agency.(ANI)
