LONDON - ‘It was in the sale’ is the top excuse used by women to justify shopping sprees, says a new study.
Three-quarters of women try to defend their purchases to their partners and 80 percent have admitted uttering, ‘It was in the sale’.
This was followed by ‘I needed cheering up’, as per the study conducted by money saving site promocodes.co.uk.
“It’s worrying how many women get so worked up spending money on themselves,” the Daily Star quoted Alex Attinger, who did the research. (ANI)
