MUMBAI - Electronic greetings website www.123greetings.com has launched a creative platform titled “Studio” to promote and market self-expression.

“Studio facilitates users to express their art by creating electronic greetings cards from photographs, videos, paintings, music, poems or any other articulation and posting them on the 123greetings platform,” a company spokesman said.

“This is a brand new concept that integrates creativity and expression on a readymade platform that reaches out to 91 million visitors across 192 countries,” he added.

The e-card, upon approval, is prominently displayed alongside the website’s own e-cards.

Once users start sending these e-cards, the artist rises up the leader board.

‘Studio’ has a system that tracks the number of people who view a card and how many are using them, with the statistics made available to the artist.

“With Studio, we are providing anyone with artistic ability a readymade audience. If a member posts something that has wide appeal, his creation will get an immediate recognition,” said Arvind Kajaria, founder, 123greetings.com.

“The highlight of the ‘Studio’ is that the creator will own the copyright. Based on the popularity of the artwork, prospective buyers may buy the artwork and enable the artist to make money as well,” he added.

Artists can log on to https://studio.123greetings.com to access the feature.
