Brit dentist pestered female technician to go to swingers’ party

LONDON - A dentist in Britain has been accused of sexual harassment after he pestered a female technician by inviting her to swingers’ parties.
The General Dental Council was also told that Raymond Pomroy, 64, told the woman, who is a devout Roman Catholic in her 20s that he dreamt about her body and that she would look good in a leather skirt.
The unnamed woman, from Poland, who has been referred to as Miss A, said she thought Pomroy was inviting her out dancing when he suggested the pair, and even her partner, go out swinging together.
She said she was ‘really, really shocked’ when he explained what he meant but claims he continued to pester her about it while she was working for him at the Felixstowe Dental Laboratory in Suffolk.
“When I told him I’m not interested, he didn’t ever stop,” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.
Miss A resigned from the dental practice earlier this year after Pomroy allegedly refused to give her overtime and holiday pay she was owed.
Pomroy denies inappropriate and sexually motivated conduct, but he admitted phoning Miss A after she made a complaint to the GDC, and he left a message with her boyfriend saying he could lose his job as a result of the allegations.
The hearing continues. (ANI)
