APML issues charge sheet against Nawaz over corruption, misappropriation of power

LAHORE - The All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) has issued a 35-point charge sheet against PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif, accusing him of corruption and misappropriation of power.

According to a TV channel, the APML also published the copies of Sharif’s apology letter as well as his pledge for not participating in politics, the Daily Times reported.

The party demanded an apology from the PML-N chief for hiding his apology letter and the pledge from his party members and the nation, the channel added.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, APML leader Sher Afgan Niazi accused Sharif of acquiring debts worth 614 billion rupees for different uses, and added that an immediate inquiry of the matter should be conducted.

He also urged the former prime minister and his family to disclose the correct lists of their domestic and international assets. (ANI)
