Marine Corps Marathon Results Declared

ARLINGTON (GaeaTimes.com)- The Marine Corps Marathon results have been declared. The event went better than what was expected as it was executed with full precaution and safety.

Marine Corps Marathon results show that the race was won by Jacob Bradosky, a 23-year-old Air Force 2nd Lt. His finishing time was 2 hours 23 minutes 30 seconds. The Wright State graduate has said that winning the race was indeed tough. However, he ran the first 20 miles with his head and the second 6.2 miles with his heart, a strategy that eventually led to his victory. He is currently stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base near Santa Barbara, California. The second position went to Ronald Kurui, a native of Kenya, who made it in 2 hours 23 minutes 41 seconds. He was a bit disappointed with his performance as he slipped of in the earlier part of the race and had to make a tough attempt to pull up. However, despite the injury in his hands and knees, he was able to take a position. He was taken to the doctor immediately after the race. He was followed by Marine Corps 1st Lt, Sean Barrett who finished it in 2 hours 24 minutes 08 seconds. The mens gave each other a tougher competition as compared to the women, who had a huge margin.

Marine Corps Marathon results for the females indicate that Janet Cherobon came first. This 32-year-old, is a nurse by profession and broke all records as she exceeded the highest record of 2 hours 42 minutes 38 seconds, set since 2003. She was followed by Gina Slaby who touched the finishing line by 2 hours 46minutes 57 seconds. The 29-year old, is a Navy lieutenant from Tucson. The third position was taken by Tezata Desalgn, who finished it in 2 hours 50 minutes 37 seconds.
