Arms and ammunition cache captured in West Bengal

BARDHAMAN - Security forces recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition in West Bengal’s Bardhaman District on Friday.

In a joint search operation launched by the police and Rapid Action Force (RAF), they recovered five hand bombs, three musket gun, four pipe guns, five rifles and other ammunition.

“We obtained information from intelligence sources about the illegal arms and based on this, we raided four places. 12 arms and ammunition including bombs were seized during this raid,” said Ashok Basu, Inspector, Mangalkot Police Station. (ANI)
