LONDON - Atlanta authorities have charged a 61-year-old man from Georgia with sexual assault for allegedly fondling a fellow airplane passenger while she was asleep.
The office of U.S. attorney in Atlanta has said that Ranchhodbhai Lakha of Alpharetta is facing various sexual assault charges.
Authorities said that a woman reported Lakha touching her below the waist, while she was sleeping on a Delta flight from Dallas to Atlanta on September 28. She also said that she removed Lakha’s hand and told him to stop, The Sun reports.
According to prosecutors, the lady had informed a flight attendant when Lakha tried to touch her again.
An FBI investigation showed Lakha may have done something similar before. A man who answered the phone at a number listed for Lakha said he had no comment on the allegations. (ANI)
