LONDON - British food writer and TV cook Nigella Lawson has confessed that she’s not a perfectionist at domestic work and is quite clumsy at home.

She reveals that her book title ‘How To Be A Domestic Goddess’ was meant as a joke but it stuck and how she hated food when she was a kid.

“A more accurate title would have been How To Feel Like A Domestic Goddess. I am incredibly slapdash. I can’t iron. I never brush my hair at the sides and back. I am bad at anything which a domestic goddess would want to be good at,” the Daily Mail quoted Nigella as telling Cheltenham Literature Festival.

“If you didn’t eat your food it was kept in front of you until you did. It was one long power struggle,” she added telling her tale as a child, who was forced to eat.

Despite her admission, Nigella, as usual, managed to look stunning for the cameras. (ANI)
