Britain’s biggest ever lottery winner yet to claim #113m prize

LONDON - The winner or winners of Britain’s biggest lottery are yet to claim their more than 113 million pounds prize.
The draw, which had taken place on October 8, has made the EuroMillions ticket-holder the country’s 589th wealthiest person, richer even than pop stars David Bowie, Rod Stewart or Robbie Williams.
But no one has yet contacted operator Camelot to claim it, despite missing out on 8,500 pounds a day in interest alone.
“Whoever it is, they will get the surprise of a lifetime when they find out what they’re sitting on,” the Sun quoted a spokeswoman as saying.
“We’re just waiting for them to make the call. It’s most likely that the winner doesn’t yet know they’ve won the biggest ever lottery prize in Britain.
“They could be in a work syndicate, and won’t know until they return to the office, or they may have gone on holiday.
“There is the very real chance that the sum is so massive that they are scared of the life-changing effects.
“And then there’s always the possibility - and the one that makes you wince to think about - that the ticket has been lost,” she added.
The winner, who has 180 days to claim, bagged the 113,019,926 pounds rollover with numbers 9, 30, 35, 39, 46 and lucky stars 6 and 8. (ANI)
