East Coast Railway to run special trains during Puja

BHUBANESWAR - The East Coast Railway Friday said it will run one pair of weekly special train service to avoid rush during the Durga Puja celebrations.

The special trains would run from Bhubaneswar to Pune and from Puri to Hyderabad and also in the return direction, a senior official of the Bhubaneswar-headquartered East Coast Railway told IANS.

Puri-Hyderabad-Puri special will run every Saturday from Puri and every Sunday from Hyderabad from Oct 9 till Oct 28, he said.

Similarly Bhubaneswar-Pune-Bhubaneswar weekly special will run every Tuesday from Bhubaneswar and every Thursday from Pune from Oct 12 till Nov 25, the official said.
