BHUBANESWAR - The 42 pilgrims, who went missing in the Bay of Bengal near Dhamra port in Orissa’s Bhadrak District due to the bad weather, have been located on Thursday and reported to be safe.

The passengers and crew had taken shelter in a mangrove forest after the boat capsized due to the low pressure.

The mortised boat that went missing on Wednesday was reportedly carrying passengers beyond its capacity of 20-25.

The passengers were on a pilgrimage to a shrine in Bhadrak district. (ANI)
