LONDON - The House of Commons will be hosting an erotica party this weekend.

The dinner is being sponsored by Romford MP Andrew Rosindell whose secretary confirmed that he was sponsoring the event “as we would do with any other Romford-based business”.

Savas Christodoulou, the man behind the Buddha Lounge nightclub in Romford, and former accountant to Pink Floyd, is conducting the Erotica 2010 event.

Guests at the 89 pounds per person dinner will be eating in the exclusive Members’ Dining Room followed by a party, off the premises and on a nearby boat.

It is the first time the House of Commons has been used for an erotica party and the Romford MP insists he has not stepped out of line.

“It is a non-profit-making dinner and I would have done the same for any local business, charity or organisation,” Sky News quoted him as having said earlier in the week.

“I have never been to an Erotica event, I am not interested in that kind of thing. I am not endorsing anything. I was simply asked to sponsor a dinner. I’m not even sure I will go,” he stated. (ANI)
