NJ cops seeking man who killed Seton Hall student
EAST ORANGE, N.J. — New Jersey authorities are asking the public’s help in finding a man who opened fire at a party, killing a Seton Hall University student and wounding four other people.
East Orange police say no arrest had been made by late Sunday morning. The party was held late Friday night into Saturday morning at a home about a mile from the Seton Hall campus.
Police and witnesses say the suspect was kicked out of the party because he didn’t want to pay the cover charge. They say he left and returned with a gun.
An electronic sign near the shooting site advertises a $10,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s capture.
The slain student was 19-year-old Jessica Moore of Disputanta, Va. Four other people, including three Seton Hall students, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
