KANSHIRAM NAGAR - The Rohilkhand Express train derailed in the Uttar Pradesh’s Kanshiram Nagar District on Friday.

Four carriages of the train derailed as the tracks near the Nagaria station caved in after being damaged by floodwaters of River Ganges.

The derailed engine fell off the tracks into a deep pool of floodwater.

“In this accident, there were 14 to 15 persons. They were dragged out but there is no information on the engine. The carriages that are on the tracks can fall down (into the water) any time,” said Riyaz Ahmed, eyewitness.
