Curfew continues in Srinagar; situation remains normal in Valley

SRINAGAR - Curfew continued in the Srinagar city on Sunday mornning even as situation remained normal in the valley and the Highway was open from Srinagar - Jammu and Srinagar - Uri.

“Curfew continues in Srinagar City, within the jurisdiction of Police station Budgam,Chadoora,and Charar-i-Shrief,in Budgam district,Kangan,Ganderbal,Anantnag,Bijbehara,Kulgam town,Qoimoh,Pulwama town,Kakapora,Litter Pulwama, Shopian town,Awantipora,Lethpora,Pampore,Kunzer,Tangmarg,Pattan,Baramulla,Delina,Pahalgam,Tapper Pattan,Sopore town,Kralpora,Trehgam,Kupwara town,Handwara,Chotipora,Kulangam,Bandipora town, and Sumbal town,” said an official release.

Meanwhile, during the intervening night of Sept.18/19, one Mohammad Amin Ganai son of Mohammad Ramzan Ganai resident of Tappar Pattan, injured on Friday at Tappar Pattan, and Shabir Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Ayub Dar resident of Lider mund Pulwama, injured on Thursday, at Sangam Bijbehara, succumbed to their injuries at SKIMS Soura.

Another person Bilal Ahmad Najar son of Ghulam Mohidin resident of Khanabal Anantnag injured on Saturday at Anantnag, also succumbed to his injuries at SMHS Hospital. (ANI)
