Anand Sharma to attend ‘Indo-US Trade Policy Forum’ in Washington

NEW DELHI - Union Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma will attend the ‘Indo-US Trade Policy Forum’ to be held in Washington next week to facilitate bilateral trade relations between the two countries.

During his visit, Sharma is schedule to deliver the keynote address in Chicago Council on Global Affairs titled “Seizing the US-India Trade Opportunities” on September 20. He is also expected to address at the luncheon session with the select US CEOs.

Sharma will have a bilateral meeting with the United States Trade Representative (USTR) and attend the ministerial meeting of the ‘Trade Policy Forum’ in Washington on September 21.

He is scheduled to participate in the panel discussion at CSI Summit “Expanding Worldwide Services Trade and Investment: Perspectives of Key Partners” on September 22.

Sharma will also deliver the keynote address at the Canada India Centre of Excellence at Carleton University at Ottawa on September 25. (ANI)
