Southend babes are UK’s sexiest

LONDON - Essex girls can feel proud, for Southend-on-Sea has been named the sexiest town in the UK.

The gorgeous babes from the seaside resort overshadowed the lovely lasses from other parts of the country, including Weymouth, Southport, Blackpool and Barry Island.

Southend already has an elongated list of producing beauties, which includes actresses Kara and Hannah Tointon, sexy ‘Countdown’ host Rachel Riley and Hollywood diva Helen Mirren.

“I’m delighted. It’s all in good fun. I’m very pleased to hear we have beat all the other competition. I think it’s the first time Southend has won something like this,” the Sun quoted the Southend mayor, Ann Holland, as saying.outhend Council’s deputy leader John Lamb also appreciated that the region is continually being hailed as an inviting destination.
