Last of Ohio-born sextuplets leaves hospital
COLUMBUS, Ohio — An Ohio couple has all of their sextuplets at home for the first time since the four boys and two girls were born three months ago.
Ohio State University Medical Center says the last of the McGhee children left the Columbus hospital Thursday morning.
A medical center spokeswoman told The Associated Press that parents Rozonno and Mia McGhee brought all the siblings to the hospital for a send-off party for their brother, Isaac.
When the sextuplets were born by cesarean section on June 9, they ranged in weight from just over 2 pounds to 1 pound, 12 ounces. They were discharged from the hospital as they progressed.
Fewer than 200 sextuplet deliveries have occurred in the U.S. The McGhees were the second set delivered in Ohio.
