Nobody went missing from Tanmarg: J-K police

SRINAGAR - The Jammu and Kashmir police have clarified that no youth has gone missing from Tanmarg area of the State, as was recently reported by a section of media.

“After preliminary verification conducted by the local Police, it has been found that no report regarding missing of any person has been lodged with the police,” said an official release on Wednesday evening.

The police have requested the general public to not to give attention to such baseless news and approach police in this regard.

Police, however, today released 33 persons for their involvement in large scale arson on Monday in Tangmarg. They were released on bail. (ANI)
