Maoists blow up railway track in Jharkhand

RANCHI - Maoists blew up a railway track near Karmavad railway station in Jharkhand’s Giridih District on Monday.

The blast, which occurred around 2.00 a.m. destroyed a metre-long track including wheels of a goods train.

Several trains like Kalka Mail, Neelanchal Express, Chambal Express have been stopped at various places.

The attack comes as the Naxals have called a 48-hour shutdown in Jharkhand. (ANI)
