Chandsen Village (Tonk District, Rajasthan),S - The presence of a 15-foot-long python in a house here, created both a scare and curiosity among residents.

Sita Devi, the house owner, was startled after noticing the long reptile inside her home.

Scared, she put a tin tub over the python for the entire night and then called forest officials for help. They arrived the next day.

“We made a loop to catch the python. We had a specialist too. We irritated the python, and when it raised its head, we immediately put the loop and got hold of it and put it into a sack,” said Yashwant Singh, a forest ranger.

At least 700 villagers gathered to catch a glimpse of the reptile.

“Some people started throwing stones at it. We got scared, as we didn’t want the python to die,” said Ram Dev, the village head.

Forest rangers later released the python in the forest located near the village. By Sarika (ANI)
