CANBERRA - In the midst of uncertainty as to who would form the minority government in Australia, with the three key Independent MPs are yet to take a decision, a majority of the citizens are now fed up with the posturing and dithering of the trio and are in favour of fresh polls, according to a national poll conducted to assess the future of the government.

According to News.com.au, the trio, Bob Katter, Rob Oakeshott and Tony Windsor would hold fresh talks today in Canberra about the issue.

Meanwhile, Windsor has said the trio wants to meet with Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Opposition Leader Tony Abbott again before taking their final decision.

“My guess is that on the basis of all of that we’ll make a determination probably tomorrow morning,” Windsor added.

Queensland MP Bob Katter said that he is still in a dilemma over whom to support.I am locked in right where I was from the start. I’m just lining up both offers, and trying to do the best for the people of Kennedy. For me, this about the survival of the people I represent,” he added.

He further claimed that Kevin Rudd, former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, had heavily lobbied him but he has not drawn any conclusion.

The third man, Oakeshott said he expected to meet both party leaders today.

“We’ll just see how today unfolds and see what sort of final folders are made by both parties,” he added. (ANI)
