COIMBATORE - The All Indian Youth Federation (AIYF) has slammed the Central Government for not tackling militancy, communalism, unemployment and Maoism effectively.

“The unemployed youth in the country are in the grip of terrorism, communalism and this is primarily because of consequences of the economic policies of successive governments led by the Congress party for more than last 50 years,” said AIYF Secretary Murugan.

“The policies of the subsequent Congress governments have led to communal hatred, rise in terrorism (militancy), rise in Maoism and all these have attracted youth. This rally is organised to bring them back to mainstream,” he added.

Around 15,000 activists participated in the rally, which was also attended by veteran Communist leaders such as Ardhendu Bhushan Bardhan and D Raja. By Jehovah G(ANI)
