Massive fire destroys standing crops in Ankleshwar

ANKLESHWAR - Standing crops in ten acres of farm land were burnt to ashes in a massive fire that broke out following leakage in a petroleum product pipeline in Gujarat’s Ankleshwar city.

The leakage occurred at the government-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) plant on Thursday.

Apart from corps, property worth millions was also gutted by the fire.

No casualty or injury has been reported so far. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. By Yogesh S. Pareek (ANI)
