PATNA - Bihar Government employees went on an indefinite strike here on Monday over their demand for implementation of Sixth Pay Commission recommendations.

The Bihar State Non-Gazetted Employees Federation called the strike in support of their seven-point charter of demands.

Employees of the State Secretariat did not join the ongoing strike, but issued an ultimatum to the government to have the grievances redressed within a fortnight or else they too would join the strike. (ANI)
