Babcock & Wilcox wins steam generator contract

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Power company Babcock & Wilcox Co. said Monday it has been contracted to replace a steam generator for Industrias Metalurgicas Pescarmona Sociedad Anonima in Argentina.

Financial details were not disclosed.

The company said its subsidiary, Babcock & Wilcox Canada Ltd., will design and build key components of the generator at a facility in Cambridge, Ontario.

Babcock & Wilcox shares fell 15 cents to $23.31 in afternoon trading.
