Pak agencies zero in on terror facilitator behind hiring jihadis from madrassas

LAHORE - Pakistani intelligence and law enforcement authorities are on the look out for a person suspected of supplying manpower and facilitating terror groups.

According to sources, officials have traced a man named Qari Munib, who belongs to a village in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and works for several groups belonging to the Punjabi Taliban.

Munib is also said to have links with Al-Qaeda.

Officials privy to investigations also revealed tat the Munib has strong links with the heads of madrassas across Punjab.

They said that Munib visits these madrassas regularly for recruiting young and ‘passionate’ jihadis, The Daily Times reports.

Following intelligence reports, law enforcement agencies are keeping a close vigil on the activities of the heads of several madrassas across Punjab and other provinces. (ANI)
