Brit couple arrested for ’sexual act’ on beach

LONDON - A Brit couple has been arrested for indulging in “a sexual act” on a beach.

Outraged members of the public called police to the beach at Shanklin where a 72-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were said to be involved in “a sexual act.”

Police are appealing for witnesses after the alleged indecent act was reported on the beach at Shanklin Esplanade.

The woman, from Redhill, Surrey, and the man, from the Derby area, were arrested on suspicion of being involved in an act of outraging public decency, reports Isle of Wight County Press Online.

The pair were taken to Newport Police Station for questioning and bailed pending further enquiries.

Officers are looking for members of the public who were on Shanklin beach at the time. (ANI)
