Zed greets Malayalees on Onam

NEVADA - Noted Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has sent greetings to Malayalees world over on Onam festival, praying for their happiness, peace, and prosperity.

In a release in Nevada (USA) today, Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, expressed warmest wishes to Malayalees on 10-day ancient festival of Onam, which falls on August 23 this year.

Rajan Zed urged them that in addition to celebrations on Onam; they should each take a vow of undertaking at least one charitable project in the future for less fortunate members of the community. Charity was duty of all of us and it should be undertaken with modesty and sympathy.
