After getting re-elected Rigzin said that Tibetan independence would remain in focus and he will work sincerely for the cause.

“The main challenge for us as an organization is to regain Tibetan independence, that’s our main goal and we’ll completely focus on that. But we also have to think about what we do immediately, what we have to do intermediately and of course, the ultimate goal to regain independence so you know as the newly elected president of this organisation. We have to continue to focus, you know we have to stay focused in our struggle. That’s the main thing,” said Rigzin.

Hundreds of members discussed the future strategy for the cause of Tibet during the seven-day meet that began on Monday.
