LONDON - A man declared by Scotland Yard as one of its most wanted men, has been arrested in Bangladesh in connection with the double murder of two Indians.
The British Government has forwarded a formal extradition request to Dhaka for 27-year-old Ayab Khan, the Daily Express reports.
Khan is wanted for the August 2003 murders of Amarjit Singh, 52, and his nephew Rajinder Singh, 35, in east London.
The two businessmen were gunned down near a hotel they owned in Forest Gate.
They were allegedly shot with an Uzi-style machine gun in a row over parking.
Dhaka Police arrested Khan, a resident of Chigwell, Essex, while he was going to the airport.
Scotland Yard had offered a 10,000-pound reward for information leading to Khan’s conviction. (ANI)
