LONDON - The Taiba mosque in Hamburg, which used to be a meeting place for the 9/11 attackers has been closed down by the German authorities.
The officials said the mosque and a cultural association connected with it have been banned from operating.
“The prayer house, formerly known as al-Quds mosque, used to be a meeting and recruiting point for some of the September 11 attackers before they moved to the US,” the Daily Express quoted official sources, as saying..
The weekly news magazine Focus had earlier reported that the mosque had again become the main centre of attraction for Jihadists. (ANI)
