AJMER SHARIF - Former Minister of State for External Affairs and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Sunday offered prayers at Ajmer Sharif shrine in Rajasthan along with his fiancie Sunanda Pushkar.

Ajmer Sharif shrine, dedicated to Khwaja Gharib Nawaz, draws hundreds of thousands of believers and devotees, from across the country and abroad.

The religious visit has come days after the Tharoor divorced his Canadian wife, Christina Giles, as hinted by the parliamentarian’s profile on a government website.

Tharoor had earlier accompanied Pushkar to the revered shrine of popular saint Sai Baba in Shirdi, Maharashtra.

Shashi Tharoor and Sunanda Pushkar are reportedly all set to tie the nuptial knot at Thiruvanthapuram soon. By Sunil Sharma (ANI)
