LONDON - A stripper is all set to contest the Australian elections with her talent and charms.

Dancer Zahra Stardust - real name Marianne Leishman - was Australian Pole Dancing Open Pairs Champion, 2009.

She is a human rights specialist and is standing from New South Wales.

“So far, I’ve been handing out condoms along with instructions about how to vote,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“I’ve also been doing some dancing on street poles to show people what I can do,” she added.

The 27-year-old has also been a life model for artists, a trapeze artist, fire twirler and a burlesque performer.

The Australian Sex Party wants to address the “sexual needs of Australia in the 21st Century”.

Its policies include improving sex education in schools and legalizing gay marriage.

The election would be held on Aug 21. (ANI)
