INDRANA - Incessant rains have inundated Indrana village in Gujarat’s Junagadh district, affecting normal life.

“All mud houses in our village have broken down. Till now, many areas are submerged in floodwater,” said Abdulbhai, the head of the village.

Villagers complained that officials have not visited the area.

“All the villages have submerged in water. The situation was so bad that we complained to the Collector and Councillor, but nobody has come here to help us,” said Mukesh Makwana, a villager.

The heavy downpour has raised water levels of the nearby, Hiran and Devka rivers. By Hanif Khokhar (ANI)
