LONDON - Six British women are set to start their attempt to swim the length of Loch Ness in relay.
They will set off from the Fort Augustus Abbey end of the loch, and it could take them up to 18 hours to complete their challenge, the BBC reported.
The ladies, who are members of London’s Serpentine Swimming Club, have had tartan swimsuits specially made for the challenge.
The oldest swimmer in the group is 65 and they are raising money for a new hospital in Afghanistan.
A lifeboat crew will be on hand in case any of the swimmers get into difficulty. (ANI)
