Kia says US sales climbed 21 percent in July and established a new monthly record

NEW YORK — Kia Motors America said Tuesday its U.S. sales jumped 21 percent in July from the previous year, a record high for the month.
BY THE NUMBERS: Kia sold 35,419 vehicles in July, up from 29,345 in July of 2009.
TOP SELLERS: The 2011 Sorento CUV was the company’s best-selling vehicle for the seventh straight month at 9,003. The model was launched in January.
