Heavy rains disrupt normal life in Delhi, NCR

NEW DELHI/GURGAON/NOIDA - A heavy downpour on Saturday disrupted normal life in Delhi and the National Capital region (NCR).

Though it provided relief to residents,commuters had a tough time passing through waterlogged areas.

Office goers had a harrowing time reaching their places of work due to huge traffic snarls.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted huge and regular rainfall for the next two months.

The minimum temperature recorded was 27.4 degrees Celsius, two degrees above the average for this time of the season.

The maximum temperature was expected to hover around 32 degrees.

Delhi has so far received 242.2 mm of rains this monsoon. (ANI)
