Two Maoists arrested in Gaya

GAYA - Two Maoists have been arrested Bihar’s Gaya District during a combing operation.

Acting on a tip off, the police squad raided a house at Ramkeriya village and took into custody the two Maoist sympathisers, identified as Suresh Yadav and Ram Vilas Yadav.

“We had information that some Naxalites (Maoists) were there. We conducted a raid and arrested two Maoists supporters. We have also seized three country-made carbines, a country-made rifle, two country-made pistols and five bullets,” said Amit Lodha, Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaya.

He also said the due had plans to execute a major criminal act. (ANI)
