Curtiss-Wright gets contract worth up to $20M

PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Curtiss-Wright Corp., which makes motion control products for military and commercial use, said Friday that it has received a contract worth up to $20 million from Moog Inc. to supply components for the flight control system of Boeing Co.’s new 787 aircraft.

Curtiss-Wright will make the solenoids at in Tempe, Ariz., and Nogales, Mexico. Production will begin immediately and continue through 2035, the Parsippany-based company said.

Curtiss-Wright shares fell 47 cents, or 1.5 percent, to $30.52 in afternoon trading.
