LONDON - It’s true - men would prefer alcohol over most things - even over staying closer to a school, says a new UKsurvey.

More than one in five said a proper local was their priority in a neighbourhood - against 15 per cent plumping for a school.

The opposite was true for the women, with a quarter picking a school and 12 per cent a pub.

The survey conducted by Royal Mail also revealed that young buyers would rather stay close to home, while one in ten would prefer to settle abroad - mostly either in Australia or Spain.

And overall, South West England is the most popular UK region to relocate in.

“This insight into moving habits is fascinating,” The Sun quoted the firm as saying.

TV property presenter Nicki Chapman added, “Finding the ideal home is so important.” (ANI)
