NEW YORK — Morgan Stanley Smith Barney has appointed Douglas J. Ketterer to head Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management in the U.S., which caters to high net worth clients.
Ketterer, 44, will report to Andy Saperstein, head of wealth management in the U.S.
He had been chief operating officer of wealth management in the U.S. at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. He joined the company in 1990 and has worked throughout the company.
Shares of Morgan Stanley rose 3 cents to $24.77 in afternoon trading Monday.
