THRISSUR - An elephant went on rampage during the annual elephant feast at Thrissur Vadakkumnatha Temple in Kerala’s Thrissur city.

Around 70 elephants are fed every year at the feast.

Like every year, the feast was performed and the elephants were returning to their respective homes, while one of them was hit by a football and turned violent.

The elephant named Vadakkumnathan Krishnan ran through the city and destroyed three vehicles including two cars, besides attacking the locals.

Wildlife authorities are trying to restrain the angry animal owned by Bharathan, a native of Thrissur. (ANI)
